• Movie Goof (factual errors): When the LAPD shock Chev Chelios with a TASER outside the strip club, they appear to are using the wrong model TASER. The LAPD employ the Advancer TASER M26, which is shaped like a pistol.
• While the theatrical release for the movie has no numeral in the title, the DVD and Blu-Ray releases both are entitled "Crank 2: High Voltage".
• Movie Goof (continuity error): On Catalina Island: When El Huron sees the girl gun gang for the first time, the girls are shown with their guns already raised and aimed ready to fire, but the next clip shows the girls raising their guns.
• In the scene where Chelios runs into a mob of porn stars, the "extras" in the movie are real porn stars. One of the stars most recognizable is Jenna Haze, but Peter North, Lexington Steele, and Ron Jeremy make an appearance as well.
