Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): SPOILER: When Dale kills his father, Dale's mouth doesn't match the words we hear.
Movie Goof (factual errors): We see a chopper's-eye view of a sunlit New York City morning. In the next shot, we see that the time, according to Leah's clock radio, is 4.30am. The earliest that the sun rises in New York is around 5.25am in mid summer.
Christopher Plummer only spent two days on the set. He was shooting one day, each with Dennis Quaid and Stephen Dorff.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Near the end of the movie Cooper hits Dale in the head with a shingle from the roof. Dale's head is bleeding badly, but in the next shot his wound is gone.
