  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In the gym, after Aaron sells Torrance out to Courtney and Whitney, and she declines to retire her position, when the squad decides to Learn a New Routine for Nationals, Torrance says to Courtney and Whitney, "How about it, girls?". She then looks in a direction that would put Courtney and Whitney in the bleachers several rows up instead of five feet away from her.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the starting sequence Torrance raises up and appears to have no top/bra on. An off color gauze wrap is visible around her chest, especially when it bounces upwards.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Torrance pulls the controller out of her brother's PlayStation, the top opens but there's no CD in it.
  • Many of the stunts performed by the teams in the national competition, including all stunts more than two bodies high, the fly-overs, and the basket-tosses with head-over-heels rotation, are illegal at the high school level according to the National Federation Interscholastic Spirit Association.
