Blood In Blood Out (also known as Bound by Honor) is a 1993 crime drama film directed by Taylor Hackford. It follows the intertwining lives of the three Chicano relatives, Miklo (Damian Chapa), Cruz (Jesse Borrego) and Paco (Benjamin Bratt) from 1972 through to the mid 1980s.

Teddy Wilson died shortly after filming the prison interrogation and Delano city jail scenes.
The Hispanic prison gang "La Onda," depicted in this film, is a fictional creation of Jimmy Santiago Baca and Taylor Hackford, but the gang is based on the real-life Mexican Mafia prison gang.
The Mural of Miklo, Paco and Cruzito seen at the end of the movie when Cruzito and Paco are reminiscing, still stands to this day. Corrosion has damaged most of the facial expressions and colors but from a distance the base is still clear.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In the scene where the young boy is laying dead on the ground from a heroin overdose, the young actor can be seen to blink his eyes.
