  • The Devil (Elizabeth Hurley) gives Elliot (Brendan Fraser) a business card with the name "The Devil" on it to prove she is the devil. It is just like "Oh, God!" when God (George Burns) gives Jerry Landers (John Denver) a business card with "God" written on it to prove he is God.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In the beach scene, when Elliot is playing the guitar, one of the lower frets is clearly bound by black tape so it will not make sound.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): During the courtside interview, several of the fans in the stands are obviously cardboard cutouts.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Elliot dunks the basketball, the glass breaks when he lets go of the hoop, but on the replay, he is still holding on when the glass breaks.
