  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): The surfing scene cannot happen in real life for multiple reasons. First off, the ice cube doesn't melt in the sun. Second, the ice cube doesn't shred to pieces when it skids along the ground. Third, the weight of all the animals on the ice block doesn't break it. In fact, the thing that finally does break it is a rock.
  • Movie Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): Yes, the male cattle have udders; it's a joke.
  • The "male" bovines having udders was explained in the October 2006 issue of Nickelodeon's official magazine, "Nick Magazine". In the letters page, one reader asked about the anatomically-incorrect cows(bovine) and whether or not it was intentional or not, and the magazine explained that the movie's director "thought it would be funny for the male cows(bulls) to have udders".
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): After the farmer has been knocked out and the animals attempt to make it appear as though a branch fell on him while reading against a tree, we see from the farmer's point-of-view that Otis places the book on the farmer spine-first with the open pages facing out. However, in the next shot the book is lying open on the farmer with the pages down and the spine facing away from him.
