- Prior to the film's United States release date, rumors hit the internet that the studio had cut 70 minutes of Mathieu Kassovitz's original version, against his wishes, to get to a running time of 93 minutes. However, later comments by Kassovitz suggested that only around 14 minutes of footage had been cut or altered, meaning the "Raw and Unrated" version released on home video, which alters or restores approximately 14 minutes worth of material, is probably his version.
