• Movie Goof (plot holes): Jim and Michelle attended the same high school, indicating that they lived in the same town. Before the wedding, Michelle's parents travel to Great Falls to help plan the wedding, and stay at Jim's house. They should have been staying at their own house if Jim and Michelle both live in the same town.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): After people find that Stifler ruined the flowers, Jim and Michelle walk through a door. Before they walk through, Jim is wearing his jacket, and on the other side, Michelle is wearing it.
• Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): Though shot in 2003, the Chicago nighttime fly-by for the trip to find the dressmaker was most likely taken from stock film shot in between 1996-'98. The Stone Container Building (the diamond topped building) has a red border sporting "Go Bulls", something that hasn't been done since that championship time period.
• The scene when Jim is thanking the guys for everything toward the end of the movie was shot in two different locations. The shot of Finch, Kevin, and Stifler with the building behind them was shot in Los Angeles and the shot of Jim with the county club in the far background was shot in San Fransisco.
