Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): In a shot of Leland's boat, the wake of the camera boat is visible in the foreground.
Movie Goof (continuity error): During the scene at the Hell's Kitchen Community Center, Reuben's tie is knotted with a deep dimple. Seconds later, outside the community center with Sandy, the tie has no dimple.
According to an interview, Jennifer Aniston stated that the reasons she worked on this film was both to work with her friend Ben Stiller and to dance the salsa.
Movie Goof (continuity error): After the dinner with Rueben's parents, when Rueben is telling Polly about Lisa, Polly's scarf changes from being loose around her neck to tight around her neck in a few scenes.
