  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Officer Barnes radios the Chief to let him know that there's been "a PDX, Vern's down" and asks "What should I do now, Chief?", the radio makes a noise like he's released the button, even though his thumb is still firmly pressing it. He continues to hold the button as he waits for an answer from the Chief, only releasing it to press it down again and repeat, "Chief?".
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): Several shots of vehicles traveling on the highway show yellow center lines. Center lines were white in 1957. Yellow lines were mandated in 1971.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Tammy (Jenni Baird) passes Ted Lewis / Urp (Eric McCormack) walking on the shoulder of the road while she is driving the pick-up truck you can see through the rear window that there is nobody where Ted should be.
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): When Tammy, Dick and Penny are in the theater, we see surround sound speakers on the walls.
