Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (factual errors): The outdoor scenes in Stockbridge, MA on Thanksgiving Day show brightly colored leaves on the trees. By late November, the trees are bare. This scene was likely shot during the first two weeks of October.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When young Reenie takes Arlo back to her room, she removes her shirt but not her skirt, but in the next shot her skirt is gone and she is only in her panties.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): 32'45'': Flipped shot: the bulb is on Officer Obie's right, and the word "chief" on Obie's hat appears like in a mirror. Two shots later, the bulb is on the left, and the hat reads "chief" in normal letters.
  • Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): In the scene where Pete Seeger is singing in the Woody's hospital room, you can hear Pete's voice before he opens his mouth.
