  • DIRTRADE(Tim Burton): [Black and white stripes]: Tweedledum and Tweedledee's shirts.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): All throughout the movie the creature Alice has to slay is called a "Jabberwocky". Carroll's poem refers to it as a "Jabberwock". Jabberwocky is the name of the poem, not the creature itself.
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): In the first scene, Alices father proposes to his business associates to extend their business all the way to Rangoon and Jakarta. In the eighteen-hundreds, Jakarta was known as Batavia. Its name was changed to Djakarta in 1942, the spelling Jakarta dates from 1972.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): At the scene of The Mad Hatter's beheading, the executioner moves the ribbon away from The Mad Hatter's neck. In the next shot from the beheading stage, the ribbon is in the same position it was before it was moved.
