Movie (2004)

Two master thieves (Brosnan and Hayek) are finally retiring after one last succesful mission. Residing in their own tropical paradise, their old nemesis, FBI Agent Stan P. Lloyd shows up to make sure they really are retired. Docked in the port is an ocean liner called the "Diamond Cruise" and Stan is convinced that they're not really retired at all, and that this is the next set up.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Stan is rushing past the ship's lobby to accost the stranger in the hazmat suit, he runs over two black electrical cables draped across the floor. Known as "stingers", these cables likely go to one or more lights that were hastily added to the set in order to light this quick shot.
The pier to which Max (Pierce Brosnan) ties the inflatable boat was a set piece fabricated just for the film. However, there was once a pier at this location (Sycamore Cove State Beach) in a different location. Occasionally the old pier pilings are visible protruding through the sand.
John Stockwell was originally slated to direct, but dropped out of the production in the summer of 2003.
Movie Goof (continuity error): While Sophie is speaking to Stan in the bar after discovering he is an FBI agent, her belt goes from being outside her jacket to inside her jacket between shots.
