- Movie Goof (continuity error): SPOILER: The whole movie is premised on Daniel and Lauren having true love and being together forever if they kiss beneath the Bridge of Sighs in Venice at the moment of sunset as the campanile is sounding. Yet, when Julius (Laurence Olivier) looks out the window and announces that at that moment Daniel and Lauren are doing so, the sun is visibly above the horizon, with sunset clearly some time in the future.
