• Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): As Jim looks out the window of Frank's taxi a few seconds after they first leave the apartment, two cameramen are clearly visible standing atop a rooftop in the window's reflection.
• Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the Private Bell tells Jim that he is out of ammo as he runs out the window, he says that he is out of bullets, but soldiers are trained to call it by its proper name which is ammunition or simply ammo.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): SPOILER: When the jeep returns to the mansion after picking up Jim, Selena and Hannah from the roadblock, two soldiers open the gate to let the jeep into the grounds. The black soldier is played by Marvin Campbell, who plays Private Mailer, the soldier tied up in the backyard. On the DVD commentary, Danny Boyle explains this continuity error came about because he was so impressed with Campbell in the few small scenes he had shot that he decided to promote him into the as yet uncast role of Mailer. All of Campbell's already shot scenes were then deleted from the film, except the one of him opening the gate.
