What are your thoughts on this version so far...
Horrible, forrible, horrible.....the show is missing George's misfit humor and so much more. The UK version is so much better!
I like it but I think they could have done better as far as casting. It is slightly different but I love the UK version.
The acting is wooden, the lighting is all wrong, there's none of the humor and too much special effect. Although I do like the smoky ghost effect that's all I like about her. If this show wants to stick around for another season or the second half of this one things need to change. That said if you never saw the UK version you might like this one. Fresh eyes might help. You don't know what you should be seeing so you have nothing to compare it to.
I will persevere for now, but I have yet to find anything I like about the show so far.
I haven't watched the UK version - this one has me watching, but its just okay so far.
I re-watched the first episode of the UK version again, just to compare it to the US take of the show. And I must admit there were a couple of nice touches in the US version that weren't in the UK one.
It must be said, I didn't think the UK show was great from the start, but it was enough to keep me watching until I realised I liked it.
The US version is certainly doing the same so far.
I have to disagree with @vyper, the UK version hit the ground running, was excellent from the start with excellent humour, the US version doesn't even compare.
@newlinux watch the UK version.
I haven't watched any of the US version yet. I did watch the first couple of episodes of the UK version but never felt compelled to go back to it. Maybe I should give it another go.
you should thor.
Tried to watch the UK version but couldn't get into it. Loving the US one so far, its awesome. Cant wait for the next eppy!
Compared to the UK version it grabbed me from the beginning.
It's good to have another show to get rid of the bad taste left by Twilight when it comes to vampires. No shiny fairies here.
I've dropped the show from my regular viewing list. I just didn't have enough to keep me interested or hooked.
I liked the last episode. It had a lot of back story on the relationship between Aidan and Bishop. I think the next episode is going to be the one to watch.
