This was my favourate episode so far. It was dramatic and exciting. Elizabeth Mitchell was on top form as Agent Erica Evans.

I agree. I was getting all revved up with her speech at the end. Can't wait to see what happens now that she means business.

Like There is no word on whether or not "V" will return for a third season, but even if the series does continue beyond the current season it will likely do so without a few key individuals.

More or less anyone could go claims executive producer Scott Rosenbaum, who has revealed that only two characters are safe from the coming cast cull. Apparently, two or "possibly even three" of the main cast could face the executioner before the second season completes its run.

Why kill of the core cast? Well, according to Rosenbaum the season will end in a cliffhanger and the killing of several characters will rock the foundations of the series. More than that, their deaths "would be most devastating for the characters [he wants] to continue".

Even the cast have admitted their shock and surprise over some of the directions that "V" has taken this year and the coming slaughter is no different.

"People are going to be shocked," Laura Vandervoort, who plays Lisa, said. "When we read the script there was initially shock, then sadness. [It's like] seeing your son go off to college or [your] grandma passing."

According to Rosenbaum, the only people safe in the coming weeks are the two leading ladies, namely Anna (Morena Baccarin) and Erica (Elisabeth Mitchell), meaning that anyone else could be gone before the season wraps up on its tenth episode.

Singer’s Role on “V” A ‘Big Deal’

March 8, 2011

Actress Morenna Baccarin says that Mark Singer’s upcoming guest role on the season finale of “V” is a “a big deal.”

Singer starred in the original series as Mike Donovan but will play a new character called Lars Tremont when he appears in the revival show’s second season finale.

Baccarin, who plays Anna, told TV Line that Singer is “such a great guy” and explained that his character will have a big impact.

“You don’t know which side he’s on as presented in the finale, but it’s a big deal,” she said. “[If the show is renewed] he’s going to be a huge threat to the Vs.”

“V” airs Tuesdays on ABC. The big season finale is next week

I love this show. I liked the original as well. It is nice that the original cast members are geting to come back and be a part of this show. It will be interesting to see what direction the show will head if it is renewed. I like everything so far, can not get enough:)

Wow...that was a blood-bath. I wasn't hip to the network shenanigans with the show as I try to just enjoy. I hope it gets renewed...Season 3 will likely have a very different feel!

I watched i few episodes from the first season, but have seen the whole second season. The show is really good, impredictible events and a very good story line, reminds me of Heroes. I really hope they renew it for the third season. Wait and see....

Almost seems like they are going to end the show what with so many of the key characters being killed off. I mean, surely Anna will kill Chad, and there was Amy's father, and Diana, and Tyler. And Anna's daughter is locked up with no help in sight! The Priest is now under Bliss, and where was the little science geek that used to be on Reaper? But, then again, Tyler's mom did just discover that huge underground and Marc Singer's character, sooo maybe they will keep it going. But with almost all humans under Bliss what can they really do?

It is really a good show. I love anything alien if it is done well. I wonder if they wont develop the red dust now that Erica has discovered her new allies. Also I was surprised that her boss and new partner were part of the underground group, I had thought they were V's for sure till the end.

the people who have money to fund shows are retarded. they don't know a good show from a monkey's anus.

@fizzerfire: It is not the people/companies that fund the shows that are the problem, it is the networks that look at the viewing numbers that is the problem.

Networks need viewing numbers to pay for their advertising - that is the main problem.

These days viewers are moving away from siting in front of the TV at a certain hour to catch their favourite shows. Many are using DVRs to record their shows for later or using other means. And I don't think the Neilson ratings (which all networks go by) is up with the times enough to show the reality of who is watching what, in these trying times.

Hopefully soon this will be corrected and less of our favourite shows will get cancelled prematurely.
