Bones returned yesterday for its sixth season.
Thoughts so far?

It was not bad
I thought it was a little bit contrived - but I am glad that they are all back together.
It was a very funny episode. Especially the Brennan/Daisy scene.
This isnt the final season - there is another one after this - is that correct??
Yes!Bones is back!
That was a great performance from Emily Deschanel this week.
Yes and this episode was refreshing.I mean, not just another case
We finally got to take a closer look at Brennan! It was fantastic. And I agree, very refreshing, too.
I can't say I like Hannah or the idea of her staying around for the rest of the season, though.
Well she is a reporter who takes big risks. So she could get bumped off by a bad guy she investigates for a story.
True. But then we'd have to deal with a very depressed Booth. I think it would be somewhat easier to deal with a break up, though I'm not quite sure why that would happen...
[Hint hint Booth is in love with Brennan hint hint...]
I agree with Zandarblade. I think Hannah will be murdered at some point and it will be up to the team to help Booth solve the case.
I think that there is a strong possibility that will happen. Probably an episode or two after Booth has preposed. Then we will have around about a season of Booth morning whilst Brennan starts a relationship with someone else. I don't really care about Booth and Brennan ending up together anymore as long as she ends up with someone who makes her happy. Otherwise she is left cold and this defeats the point of the series.
I think that the show's creators thought that Hannah was going to be at least a little more popular than she is.
The Hannah character has interrupted the flow between the team - She doesn't seem to be working (IMHO) so some sort of truama may well befall her - I wonder if it will be some sort of kidnapping or more fatal as suggested by Sargo.
Or could it be that Hannah is secretly working for a foreign country as a spy or sleeper terrorist hmmm and Brennan suspects something that when she mentions it to Booth causes a friction and seperation between them
That is an interesting theory and it would be a very exciting storyline if the show's writers decide to go down that route.
I just have to say: Oh. My. God.
Another thing I must say, is it Booth's?
***Possible Spoiler***
I think it is. Remember the episode before last. She wormed her way into his bed, and then later told Angela about it.
Yeah, but hasn't it been like a week or two since they were together?
*********SPOILER***********
I have issues with the whole pregnancy thing. First of all we don't see Booth and Brennan get together all we see is a cuddle and then she tells Booth she is pregnant with his child. That is very poor writing.
I had an idea they would write Emily Deschanel's pregnancy into the show but they should have done it better than that. I could ave done a better job myself.
Thor i think they did that to keep the show and the fans intrested in it.
I bet they will show more details next season.
I can't wait for it.
And I can't wait it, too!
@thor and lambros009
I really hope they do because they really went about this the wrong way.
FOX entertainment president Kevin Reilly seemed optimistic about keeping "Bones" alive after the upcoming game-changing Season 7, which sees Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) having a baby together.
"We haven't had any discussions yet," Reilly said to the crowd at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "I think the producer would like to keep it going. We'd like to keep it going."
The move to Thursday has also been a boon to the series' success, which brought the strongest ratings in its six-season tenure on the network.
"We've been patty darn happy with the performance of 'Bones' on Thursday night," Reilly continues, pointing at how it thrives while other procedurals have flagged. "That's a really valuable show to us."
The mid-season introduction of pseudo-spin-off "The Finder" could also work in "Bones" favor. "We have nothing coming in that could replace it, other than I think, "Finder,'" Reilly says. "I can see those shows being compatible."
After Reilly's executive session, he spoke with reporters on stage, noting that Deschanel's pregnancy has currently curbed the "Bones" Season 7 episode count to just 13, with "Finder" coming in at mid-season. He added that this could change if Deschanel is up for more after her maternity leave.
They're also curbing talk of "Bones'" long-term future until later in the year, perhaps after seeing the audience reaction to the typically shark-jumping storyline of the perennially "will they?/won't they?" couple becoming parents.
As for Season 7, a sizable bit of casting news also came in before Reilly's discussion. TVGuide reports "No Ordinary Family" and "Gossip Girl" actor Luke Kleintank landed a potentially recurring role as a new Jeffersonian squintern.
Kleintank will play a genius named Finn Abernathy, who earned his college degree at only 16. He's also something of a southern gentleman.
Expect maybe a few more changes on the squintern front. After all, Season 6 saw the loss of one of the most familiar members of the team when Vincent Nigel-Murray (Ryan Carwright) was felled by sniper Jacob Broadsky (Arnold Vosloo).
Excited for a new squintern -- or do you think it might finally be time for the Jeffersonian crew to pick a Zack replacement and stay with it?
And, more importantly, what would become of the world if there were just 13 episodes left to "Bones?"
Season 7 of "Bones" premieres Thursday, Nov. 3, at 9:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

Very interesting - normally shows don't survive when the two lead characters finally get together.
