Do you mean the guy who asked the kids to call him uncle and he was really the boss on a job that Dan had in construction? Roseanne went to help out and was hired. Then the guy came for dinner, bought all kinds of gifts including a refrigerator?

I signed on to ask a question about Roseanne. The first episode in which Mark Healy's brother appeared, he appeared as Kevin. We all know him as Darlene's boyfriend David. Why the name change? Was he only in the one episode as Kevin? This is making me crazy!

i think they liked him and decided to give him a full time role as david or it was an inside joke.
Remember when the becky chracter was played by the girl from scrubs and then the original actress came back and a few episodes later the girl from scrubs came to the door and roseanne made a comment (paraphrased) 'what a sweet girl she'd make a good daughter'
