i was wondering if anyone thinks the final monk episode that ends with trudy's murderer being revealed will end at christmas with him opening the gift trudy left him that he's never opened yet?

For anyone who watches monk regularly, I don't think that is much of a spoiler (the final episode hasn't aired yet - the poster is asking a question). Most of us assume the series will end with solving his wife's murder. It would be criminal if it didn't.

I did not watch it regular but my brother watched it regular because this show is one of his fav show and never missed.

I have watched Monk from the first season, first episode and it is one of my fav shows. I watched reruns after reruns too. I hate that it is going off the air. I won't be watching that new show about Litle Monk because it just wouldn't be the same. Monk is funny and I don't know the reason that it will stop filming. Maybe because the actor who played Monk's therapist died last year or maybe because of salary disputes. If anyone knows, let me know.

Monk has always been one new episode each week, not a continuous running plot; however, finding Monk's wife's murderer has always been a subplot which was never in each episode, but only in about 40f the entire show. So that' not much of a spoiler because his wife's murder was not the major plot.

Anyway, I hate to see it go, it was funny.
