My 'recently aired episodes' informed me that the UK TV show 'Skins' is currently being aired on BBC America and I was curious what Americans think of it? I know there are a lot of teenagers in the UK who relate to it really well and a lot who really don't. What's the overall view from the American public?

Is that the overall view being that no one is watching it?
Or that no-one has a viewpoint they wish to share. It happens.
At least I can tell you what a french girl think about it : I love this show. I'm not a teenager anymore (i hope so at 25 years old lol) but i like it anyway. I don't even recognize me in these characters... i was wise and responsible.... but that doesn't matter, you can enjoy it.
But i wouldn't like my children to look like them!!

Just watched this show after watching the first season of Misfits. Its an awesome teen drama. Hilarious and so much better than and more realistic than anything to come out in the states... ever.
Skins returns with a brand new cast for series 5 on Thursday Jan. 27th, 2011 10:00PM on E4 (UK).

Looks like the first episode of season 5 will be about Franky Fitz, anyone know for certain?
According to Wikipedia, the featured character will be Franky Fitzgerald.
I don't think I can handle another total reset, it took me all of season three to re-adjust and now all I can think is "wt* happened with cook and the rest of the second cast?"
This is probably because I only finished season four about 20 minutes before the first episode of season five aired. I loved the first two seasons, at least they wrapped it up somewhat.
This show isnt good at all.
@Bojan I think it is good the the show is willing to keep itself fresh by resetting every two years. I think one of the reasons why your wondering what happened to Cook, is because that was such a silly ending. I too love the first two season, think it went a bit ott in season 4 but still good.
What did you think of first episode of season 5?

Honestly, I didn't even finish the first episode of season 5. It seemed okay for the first bit I watched it but I just don't want to watch this show for a third time.

Any member is entitled to his/her opinion of a show and to post that opinion in the appropriate thread. (within Site Rules as to language used of course)
Wasn't trying to be mean or anything, just think its pointless to say you don't like a show with no any follow up as to why or give a full opinion.
