I dont know much about Star Trek except that some series are old, so it hard to watch now and that there are one-episode story arc which i also dont like much.
I am more babylon 5 fan.

So which Star Trek i may like? I heard ds9 is on station too and i now that enterprise is the most modern show, so may be i found good quality there.

I found Star Trek Voyager to be interresting.An ongoing storyline through 7 seasons plus a new adventure every eps.,with a clifhanger thrown in a couple of times per season.

are there going to be any new series in the future i know theres a new movie being planned

Every one of the series have upsides and downsides. The original series was OK but with only 72 episodes and William Shatner it can be...tedious. The Next Generation was good but stuffy at times. Deep Space 9 was darker (grittier) and some say better. No offense Quark but DS9 was a love it or hate it show. For me, sometimes it felt like it wasn't sure where it wanted to go.Voyager was good in its own way although (and I know this is lame but...) I just could not take the nemesis species in that one seriously (forget the name) due to their hair. The predators were good though. Enterprise was good in a low-key way but were not given a chance to stretch their legs but still had some good episodes. All of them were good scifi at and /or for their times. At least they had toilets on Enterprise....for stong stories, IMHO Bab 5 was the best. Stargate is good scifi as well.

There are those who say that our generation is a good one better for our children the next generation...well I can honestly say we are leaving them a wonderful legacy of scifi. :)

DS9 was great, although a bit heavy handed at times. Voyager became the best star trek as the show progressed and it ramped up it's story towards the greatest of endings, the Endgame double bill.

The Original was awesome cuz it was so funny and Kirk is the MAN-- suave and macho, back when men could grab alien a$$es without having it become an Intergalactic Incident!

Dudes! TNG is the one to start with. I actually had never watched Star Trek until about 1 1/2 years ago. Since then, I have seen every episode of every series. But TNG was the one that got me hooked.

DS9 is also very good. I think it's the second best series. There is a lot more character development.

I think it might be best to watch Enterprise after you have seen some of the other series. I loved Enterprise. I am actually downloading season 2 now because I miss it so much. Some day I will be able to invest in owning them all.

i loved 2 episodes of Enterprise so far! Archer from quantum leap,
sexy vorgon(or something similar to Vorlon :))), good quality. I specially liked human nature, that documentary video from opening and beautiful songs. So romantic!
Cant watch TNG pilot, too old for me.
I'll try other series.

If you want to see the best star trek season, it would have to be season 6 next gen. Best episode for all star trek Cause and Effect season 6 next gen and in second place last episode of Enterprise.

Teal'C from SG-1 kinda reminds me of Spock.

Voyager and Deep Space Nine are my favorites.DS9 had the more interesting storyline.

I have always enjoyed DS9 more than any of the others. The characters were more fun as well!

Just finished downloading Star Trek Enterprise,and have watched a few episodes.This is a great show,a little too much drama at times The storyline and the timeline are quiet original.The actors are likable and the aliens are interesting.Still seeding all four seasons,available at Demonoid.

Star Trek TOS will always be number one for me with STNG in second place and DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and the Animated Series all coming in third.
