Blood Ties don't think season 2 is going to last very long. Time slot has been moved to 11pm form its 9pm original. Looks like only the last 3 eps of season 1 are going to be broadcast and calledc season 2 although other eps are listed. Ep 2x03 is listed to be shown on 10/26 no dates for those eps shown after. Guess competion from Moonlight to much or original ratings not strong enough. |

blood ties ? watch 2 times bad just bad acting ,just bad ! |
||
Oct 19, 2007 7:43PM |
Well all the episodes for season 2 are listed on tv.com (TVrage listings seem to require manual updates to this site). Of course, all the episodes that constitute season 2 were already filmed as part of season 1, so there isn't really anything Lifetime has to do... If they want to drop a show they already paid for, I guess that's up to them... I hope they don't... |

||
Oct 20, 2007 6:22AM |
well i've been watching Blood Ties ever since it started in the UK a few weeks back....and i have to say i really like it. i think the show has got alot of good potential. if not seen Moonlight thou so i cant compare the two together, In the UK there showin episodes 1-22 as just one season amd not spliting them so i know that i'll at least get to watch the whole season and just maybe they will show "season 2" if the ratings are good enough |
||
Oct 20, 2007 6:33AM |
What EP are you upto? Here in USA 1st season was supposed to be 22 eps but ended at EP 12. 2nd season is the rest of the 1st but only showing air dates for the 1st 3 eps of season 2. |
||
Oct 21, 2007 1:34AM |
what is it about?? |
||
Oct 21, 2007 1:43AM |
so you are aware that if you search show in that spot at the top left of your screen it will bring you to a page that contains a description of the show? |
||
Oct 22, 2007 10:45AM |
Not a very good show description |
||
Oct 22, 2007 10:46AM |
I watched it today. I think it could be a lot better |
||
Oct 23, 2007 2:13AM |
your right about that I just tried to change that lousy description but it wouldn't me(probably because it was added by another Mod, but it didn't say who) so I put a detailed description in the reviews section on that page =) |

Last show airing tonight 11pm lifetime. last 2 eps online only. |
||
Nov 30, 2007 8:48PM |
Thanks for the update, Joker... Just a tip, for those who will be viewing the last two episodes from the Lifetime website - if you have Norton (Symantec) and have "block ads" and "block popups" enabled, you may have to temporarily disable those to play streamed videos from the Lifetime site (they typically include a commercial). |
||
Nov 30, 2007 9:29PM |
Talked to Cap they are supposed to be shown on the Canadian Scifi Channel. If so he will upload. |
||
Nov 30, 2007 9:53PM |
blood ties also plays on citytv on sunday nights...another canadian channel...but they too, as well as space, are far behind the life network...for the citytv schedule on dec16 (as far ahead as the site goes)they are on ep06 'drawn and quartered'...so will be a while before they are caught up.... |

I like Blood Ties and I enjoy catching glipses of downtown T.O. If you like the series you should read the books by Tanya Huff. |
||
Dec 5, 2007 10:55PM |
Look forward to seeing the torrents (thank you in advance if you can do that Capt), but will watch on Lifetime online (streamed video) if I have to... Of course, capture groups often upload webisodes from shows like Day Break and Six Degrees (shown exclusively online). I'll have to put Tanya Huff's books on my reading list (thanks for the recommendation, Jimmysgirl), along with Darkly Dreaming Dexter stuff... |
||
Dec 5, 2007 11:57PM |
i had forgotten about daybreak...another one that i enjoyed that was cut short...i didnt know that they played the rest of it online....guess by now i will need some cheese/crackers to go with my whine |

Dec 8, 2007 11:41AM |
I love Blood Ties, we are on episode 5 series 2 over here in Ireland..(we didn't have the break in between series 1 and 2 which I thought was strange) I bought all the Tanya Huff books when I was in NY..have got my house mate and her sister hooked on it. I hope they don't cancel it, its my highlight on a sunday to sit down and watch it. It was my love of blood ties that lead me to this website... :) |
||
Dec 8, 2007 3:00PM |
well, i am just sitting here with tears streaming down my face as i wait for kolbinfo to update me on the latest bloodties...will have to wait for city or space to get caught up...or for somebody to take pity on us poor non-gratis people that can't view streaming video to upload the video! (read that lifetime caters to american only?) |
||
Dec 8, 2007 3:25PM |
Here you go the best selection of Blood Tires for dling http://www.mininova.org/search/Blood Ties/8 ep 9 not being shown until 12/14/07 |
||
Dec 8, 2007 5:13PM |
@appara Trust me...USA networks really don't cater to all Americans only those of us living in the U.S. As a spouse of an active duty army soldier living in S. Korea, we can't watch either. Thankfully I can download all my favorites and research other programming due to this site. |
||
Dec 8, 2007 6:08PM |
Well, I'm going to watch the episodes (9 and 10) at Lifetime online right now (sorry, I can't see that anyone has converted the web-based video to torrent yet...) If you do have access to the Lifetime website in the U.S., remember, you may have to turn off any ad-block in order to watch, Lifetime typically includes a commercial with every video stream... |
||
Dec 8, 2007 9:49PM |
lol... just kidding kolbinfo...i will survive...i just hope u really (would like to put caps on really, but i see where some have sensitive ears)really enjoy the final episodes...( i need a little fix tho...is the chemistry back????)these episodes...they will show up on one of our satlite channels....eventually! even if they don't torrent... @rhettswife...i hear you, and i too appreciate this site |
||
Dec 9, 2007 6:10AM |
What has happened to this site are not the episode torrents posted to allow us to download them. I've noticed this for weeks and have to use other sites what is happening? I'm an aussie and we tend to get things years after if ever |
||
Dec 9, 2007 8:20AM |
@dwjones With all respect if you had visited the site more often and read the Forums, you would know that this site no longer hosts torrents. All torrents that our members tend to access first are now on a totally separate site Torrentguy.org If you want a torrent for a particular show go to that shows page and halfway down on the right you will see Torrentguy Link. This effects a search on that show. Why not be more active on this site there are many interesting features if you give it a chance. |

Dec 9, 2007 8:30AM |
Ok anyone what screen capture app would you recomend? Have tried a couple but realy did not like them. Am willing to try again to capture the Blood Tie eps and then upload. |

even out of sync i still want to say a big thank you to joker! (i was on that first one like shite to a blanket)...was a great dl....i watched and enjoyed both parts...now am really hoping one of the networks picks it up for a season three |
||
Dec 11, 2007 11:18PM |
I've just watched both episodes - and I'm currently downloading the repaired version of 2x09. Personally, I didn't care that "We'll Meet Again" was out of sync, but thank-you very much for taking the time and trouble to fix it for us. Have you any idea how happy you've made foreign Blood Ties fans, Joker? 10 days of constant online searching, tracking down false leads and seeing ones hopes grow dim. And then suddenly, like a miracle.... they appeared on the horizon. It ends on a gutwrenching cliffhanging, so I sure hope we see it again; as it's the worst place to leave viewers hanging - at a fork in the road. |
||
Dec 12, 2007 5:01AM |
@Marple What no Knife and Spoon? LOL Seriously we can always trust Joker to help when he can and if something is around he'll find it. |
||
Dec 12, 2007 6:26AM |
@marple & NIP Sorry about the caps on ep titles. One of my editors always changes titles to caps and I just don't bother to change them. |
||
Dec 12, 2007 8:06AM |
@marple...kinda makes us have a little more understanding on the compulsions of stalkers....scary thought! lol |

RE: @marple...kinda makes us have a little more understanding on the compulsions of stalkers....scary thought! lol While shown on Lifetime in the U.S., Blood Ties is a Canadian series filmed in Vancouver where I live; yet I'd never heard of it until a friend told me about it for knowing I like the Vampire genre. I was out-of-sync with CityTV which airs it in Canada, so to get on the same page I downloaded the first 12 ep's in one go; ie: I didn't have to wait 12 weeks to catch-up, in other words. Ever do that? Find a show online, watch all the episodes (getting into the story) and then suddenly not only have to wait for new ep's to air now, but it turns out your local station wasn't in-sync with the U.S. schedule, for someone in another country to upload new ep's because despite being legally available online, you're not an American and so they block your ISP - but only AFTER ADVERTISING they have the episode you want. Imagine you totally get into Dexter and then 2 episodes shy of seeing the season finale - you gotta wait two months; while everyone ELSE gets to see how it ends! You can either sit around and nurse your frustration or be proactive minded - go look for it; one's efforts equal to the curiousity driving you to see how it all ends. But then that's me; I was just as impatient while waiting for the last Harry Potter book to come out, chuckle! |
||
Dec 20, 2007 6:40PM |
@marple...you must be watching on cityvan too...the good thing is i can watch again and pick up things i missed the first time round...then go online where i keep hoping to see a season3...i sent off e-mails to city and space...and got a response from both saying they have been swamped with blood ties fans...but no hint if the series has been picked up yet |

jan 9/2008 found this at e-online canada, Kristen/gossip Who Can Bring It Back: The series is Canadian, and according to Zalken, "Some of the Canadian broadcasters have said, 'Yeah, we're interested in it; let us know what and when and how.' We're also hopeful that a new home in the U.S. will present itself." The series would likely need financing from both a Canadian and an American network if it were to pull off a second season. Sci Fi? SoapNet? Starz? Which nets do you think should take a look? Why It Stands Out During the Strike: According to Zalken, "I don't think the strike is going to hurt us, because Canadian writers are not hindered by the U.S. guild rules. So, we can be delivering new shows for the fall... I guess that's more than a lot of producers are saying now." That's good news for fans and Blood Ties staffers, but it's probably less exciting for our local American writer pals, as it could alleviate some of the pressure they're attempting to put on American conglomutainment outlets. What's at the Ready: Should a vampire-friendly guardian angel with deep pockets happen to fall out of the sky tomorrow, the show could resume production relatively quickly, says Zalken. "The sets are still available—they've not been destroyed—our talent is very eager to come back, and our show runner, Peter Mohan, is standing by." |
