I wasn't sure what was next either. I assume new characters will emerge with various powers and the company will be reformed. Mr Bennett role should be interesting to watch.

I just cant imagine how season 2 is going to start. The first season was so incredibly fantastic that i hope they can keep the standard up for season 2.

I heard that they'll be adding several new characters this year. As far as storylines, haven't heard anything but I have high hopes. I really enjoyed season 1.

Can't wait to see Hiro and Claire back in action. Superb show and I can't get more of it.

@jakewastaken: I agree. As good as the show was, I was really let down by the season finale. I expected some sort of apocalyptic battle between Sylar and the heroes, but the ending was a disappointment Not a good way to end a fantastic first season, IMO.

I guess they wanted to have Sylar back in season 2 :)......agreed the finale definitely did not live up to our expectations.

It is a really great show, Season 2 can come any sooner, im kinda excited to see what this Kane character is all about, i think that Sylar is probably gonna end up being his apprrentice and more than likely end up killing him one day...

soooo close to season 2. I didnt like the whole lead they did using the girl "much worse than the boogie man, when i think about him, he can see me"...I thought the finale was a big dissapointment, all of the heros should have had to reunite together to kill skylar PERMENANTLY!

NBC announced a 6-episode spin-off of their breakout hit Heroes, Heroes: Origins.

The limited series will feature characters not yet seen on the original show. Viewers will get the chance to vote for their favorite Origins star, who will then join the cast of the real thing in the '08-'09 season.

Though the standard network season is 22 episodes, NBC has ordered 24 Heroes segments, which, when combined with Origins, brings the total number of heroic hours on the net to 30. Heroes: Origins will air mid-season, in order to give Heroes a hiatus (unfortunately, NBC has not discovered a way to imbue the staff and crew with superpowers of their own).

Obviously she's a new character on the show coz' she keeps on hanging out with the cast, like practically announcing to the world that she is on it. Too bad 4 Veronica Mars. She has this and Gossip Girl to do now so i guess that's better.

Sylar just has to die already! I guess we were already so hyped up about it that the ending was soo blah when everything just happened in a flash n he didn't die in the end. can't wait for the new super-baddy.

sylar should be be killed soon. I can't imagine the whole of 2nd season gonna be chasing after him. Hopefully the story line can develop into some interesting direction. Something, we could never have imagined or guessed. Its gonna be awesome!

There are 2 differents releases, Heroes.S02E01.HDTV.XviD-LOL, with 352 MB, and Heroes.S02E01.HDTV.XviD-XOR with 699 MB.

Both are HDTV, why the differents sizes?

i think sylar is gonna be a good guy this season,though i dont think the other heroes would trust him..

on the sylar topic, I have NO idea which direction this is going to take. Lets Recap (spoilers). He's killed two people already, the first for greed and more powers obviously, the second (derek) so he couldn't call the police. Here's where I'm getting really confused. Did he not want the cops to be called so... (a) alejandro and maya could live happily ever after (even though we all know the show won't allow that) (b) he saves alejandro and maya from the police only to have them to himself? (c) as of yet, he doesn't even know himself, or will constantly change throughout the season? Another point that i'm wondering why it hasn't been mentioned yet is How the heck did he get out of the forest he was in?!? and why weren't his powers working? are they now? Is he healed? why was he lying on the road? Ok... so thats more than one point, thats spontaneity for ya :)

@aus5543; thats a lot of questions, I think he killed Derek so he could have alejendro and maya for his own evil ends or else why would he lie and say he's taking them to see Professor Suresh when he knows he's already dead (cause he killed him).
I don't know what to say about the rest of the questions, I suppose if we knew all the answers there would be no point in watching the show.

i dont think it's the invisible man who attacked angela petrelli. first off,parkman clearly said the wounds were self-inflicted,thus eliminating the invisible man theory. the attacker probably has the ability to possess the mind and body of its victims,which is why it seemed angela petrelli attacked herself and the violent motion of molly when she saw parkman's dad.

just read on eztv forum these episodes are not going good with the critics,also the rateings are down,they are complaining the story lines are a bit bland.

But when you can travel through time and hit on any girl you want... no need to pick this one. Get a victoria secret model. Or some woman we've never heard of who fits your criteria. With all of history as a choice (heck even the future) why pick this one :)

To a question above, when the episodes are different sizes its all about the quality of it. The smaller they are the more they have been compressed, therefore the less quality.

With Sylar, I wouldn't be surprised if Maya ends up killing him, either by accident or not, thats a diffent matter.

Arch Villians aren't supposed to ever die they always find a way to survive.

Suppose, if Sylar got Parkman's power, that would bring the excitement up to where it was in season 1 where he had all his powers (that he stole) still

One of them ends in the middle of season.
So, if it would be end of season 2, then next story will be in season 3. So, it is not disaster

The anticipated spin-off show of the NBC sci-fi drama, Heroes, has been indefinitely cancelled. Although "Heroes: Origins" has not been completely axed off the list, it is rumoured that the writers' strike is a factor in the hold up. However, the show, which was supposed to be scheduled for a six episode spin-off, may very well take shape again next season. Meanwhile, "Heroes" is still alive so enjoy.

This season ends dec 3rd, but there should be a few pre-season 3 specials through next year including the start of Origins.

But that plans is all based on the strike being over by April.

ooo..I found it...I was looking for a place that actually talked about the show....sweet...still gotta watch this weeks episode....but last weeks rocked my world..love the peter/adam thing....really looking forward to seeing where they take it!!!

They really are picking up the pace a bit, excellent episode this week, and the scene at the end was superb.

ya they pace is definitly faster than the first season, and i like the new peter but the storyline is getting more confusing

Great Show, i'm totally hooked, i have just two question, How comes Peter p or Sylar don't have The Haitian's ability? and if The Haitian stops abillites how does nathan p fly away in the first session?

I can't remember where I saw it at. There was and apology to the Hero's fans. I don't even want to try to put here what it said...I am afraid I would get it all wrong...In short they think they are disappointung the fans somehow. Don't know about you guys..But I am not disappointed in this season.

Maybe the hatian has to be somewhat close to stop abilities. And maybe his ability to stop abilities stops Peter from absorbing his ability. And sylar would have to open up his head to get the Hatian's abilities, he doesn't absorb them like peter. For all we know PEter has the ability. He just never been good at using his abilities, or even knowing what he can do.

I don't know but I hope they show more about Peter..

Good point about Peter, half the time he doesn't realise he has the power in the slightest until he uses them by accident and flows with it. It would be interesting how well he would do if he actually thought about abilities he has seen in the past and focused on them before accidently coming across them.

It is possibly attributed to how some heroes like for instance Claire, thier abilities work automatically without having to focus in the slightest. While Matt focuses to hear other peoples thought and etc, I wont spoil it for people who haven't seen the latest episodes. So maybe the Haitian wasn't focusing properly at the time of Nathan's escape? Just a theory.

This show just gets better and better.
The ending was quite a surprise. I can't wait for my next fix, I am totally addicted.
I was also quite glad that there was no sign of Sylar this week.

In the episode when the Mohinder Suresh realises who Sylar is, Sylar says to Peter your like me, i would like to see how that works, which makes me think peter and sylar are the same, its just that sylar's a sicko and thinks he needs to see how things work, like repairing his old watches. just an idea.

Well it could, but there is the possibilty he only gets the level of power from them that they have at the time. OR like I said it just takes him awhile to realise the power, like he needs a slap in the face with the power. Most of the time I get the feeling Peter doesn't see how much POTENTIAL he has just the negative.. then again almost killing millions of people and have others attacked because of you would cause you to focus on the negative.

Then again Im not quite sure the powers trully evolve.. maybe they were always there but they had to work to discover them. For if its evolving, two peoples minds, ie Matt and his Dad, shouldn't work exactly the same way if its evoling and not just already there. Like covered in dust and needs to be unconvered.

the haitian's ability to stop or counteract powers only apply to those which use the mind.like parkman's for example,he has to use his mind to hear people's thoughts.nathan wasn't affected by the haitian because his power is a physical ability.

as for evolving powers,i dont think the haitian's has evolved.he was already able to supress powers ever since the 1st season.

too bad this season ends in 2 episodes.

In teh first season when they went 5 years into the future I believe the hatian was able to stop more than mental powers. Also, he stopped sylar as well, unless you count his powers as mental powers... I guess this brings up the point about there being a very hard to distinguish line between mental and physical powers...

Given, Eden did say the Haitian's ability could block mental powers but through the show he has show more in his ability in that. For example in heroeswiki.com his power listing was changed a few times until it came to this: 'The Haitian has the power to manipulate people's minds, selectively interfering with the use of special powers and selectively deleting memories.'

His power to mess with a person mind could indeed affect both mental and physical powers as all attributes from a person can come from the brain. BUT some would question why they don't use him to kill Adam then, Im guessing they might have tried but as soon as Haitian goes out of range Adam's powers start working again even through death like other examples of this.

And yea, this season being ending is quite quite sad indeed. I <3 my heroes if you can't tell.

I personally don't think there is a hard line, everything a human can be stems ultimately from the brain, some powers just manifest mentally other physically but all in all they stem from the brain. After all, kill the brain, heart stops working right? So I really doubt there is a hard line trully despite what it can seem like. The brain is a powerful thing.

adam's power can't be stopped since his power is in his cells' ability to regenerate.its spontaneous,which counteracts the effect of aging.but according to victoria pratt,the head should be the target,since,what do you know,its where the brain is located! haha

what power isn't mental? I think the line is blurred since your mind has to do something for you to do anything. I mean, do we really know how flying works? In any event I don't think there is anything definitive on how the Hatian's powers work...

Im not completely sure Adam's power can't be stopped, as it seems even he is like victoria under the beleif a shot to the head could stop him. After all like he said to Peter, 'No coming back from that one.'

Anyone else wondering about this though, Clair, Peter, and now Mr Beckett have all taken damage to thier brains which have healed. Then again on the flip side maybe they didn't have enough damage to thier brain to inhibit it processing the regeneration. So maybe destroying his brain enough would do it.

But with the sword idea, it is an interesting one, but if it is the ONLY thing that could stop him it would bum me out cause that would be a bit to mystical for me. And Im loving this show for the science to the going ons. Then again maybe it isn't the only thing that can, but maybe it was just destined to be, after all it has the helix mark, and its prominant in the show.

OMG Maya is so stupid! Did she really beleive her brother would just leave after dragging her butt so far with her just wanting to give up half the time in the begining. Is she really that deluded. And Sylar, as interesting a villian he is, I just want to squish him like a bug with him basically being powerless. But it looks like that might not last too much longer if Mohinder isn't careful!

All the stories are wrapping up together far to soon for my liking.

I don't believe we've ever been told what his power was.

I think he was just part of the original establishment of the company.

I don't seems to recall ever being told what Hiro's fathers power was. I do remember speculating at the end of the first season that Hiro would meet his father and it would be Takeso Kensei. I was sooo close to getting it right. :(
