and optional

3) peer guardian - helps protect your privacy when downloading. most networks don't have a problem with it, but there are a couple like NBC who will notify your ISP if they catch you. And the ISP could turn off your internet

If, you have never seen Lost, you have to watch it! This is the perfect way to do it and you will instantly be hooked!

I watched series 1 and part of series 2 but give up after that. I thought it got a bit unbelievable and complicated. Maybe I will give it another shot. Is it worth it though??

Season 1 was great, very fun and exciting to watch. Season 2, you have to push through for most of the season. The first few episodes of season 3 are a bit slow, then it regains its original momentum and are every bit as entertaining as season 1. You do have to watch it from the beginning and try not to have too many long pauses in between episode (no more than a week in between, and I promise it will be worth it. The season 3 finale is incredible, I can't wait for season 4.

Don't know.. I'm with Kiefersgirl, I have tried to watch it but just get, pardon the pun, Lost. Now that a few seasons are in the bag I should just sit and power thru them.

My whole family loves this one. I agree with everyone else, you have to start from the beginning and watch it through. Although I thought the Lost producers dropped the ball a bit in season 2, by the end of season 3 they were definitely on target again. For me, it's the most captivating, puzzling and entertaining show on tv today.

Another item that might help is to listen to "The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack" or visit jayandjack.com. Their podcast started with season 2. It is very entertaining and can really help those who have trouble following everything.

I just read somewhere that the producers have stated that there will be both flashbacks and flashforwards next season. I also saw that the season premier will be in February. February? What happened to the January premier? I gotta get my Lost fix in soon....

For the first 8 episodes of season 3, I was beginning to think the Lost producers had lost their mojo, but they finished up with about 7 terrific episodes, and now I'm basically gritting my teeth waiting for season 4 to start. Here's hoping they don't disappoint.

There were rumors that the show was being moved to the Friday 9:00 slot, which is pretty much the kiss of death. The producers have, thank goodness, squashed this rumor.

I think the show got a bit wild in the last few episodes.

By the number of you that have commented I would say that the show is haveing the intended effect,you should feel as lost as they do.The show keeps you asking questions be they negative or possitive.The flashbacks build the characters and add to the mystery at the same time.Don't let it get complicated just sit back and get lost.Havn't seen season 3 yet,thanks for the spoiler.

Season 4 is looking like its going to be strong.

It got a bit weird but I love the show.

I'm going to give season 4 a try, but I think the writing has gone downhill... I need more than just "stating the obvious" from Hurley, "scowls" from Sawyer, and wild-eyed intense looks from Jack... I really like all these characters, I hope the writers can give them something interesting to say and do this year...

Cant wait for session 4 but hope it gets back to what we love.even after 3 seasons.. im still lost too...

Lost is a good TV show, BUT, the 4th season is so far away, and the ending of the third season was not so clear. The mystery, social problems, sci-fi, drama... The only, i would say "bad" thing about LOST is the passiveness of the characters when it comes to a tricky mysterious situation, they seems not to ask obviously logical questions, about a little bit clearing the situations for the viewers. Its little irritating, but the other factors regarding this show are all OK.

@77sam77: i think you are wrong, because what i have seen from the last scene Kate dont want to see with Jack for some reason with her "men", and i think that that "men" is Sawyer. And i thin heiqal is wright. I read on TV.com about Ben that this character is not appearing in the 4th season.

Ben sucked anyways so good riddance, and in regards to Kate, Jack, and Sawyer--They should just get together and have their Ménage à trois and get it over with, Kate already bounces back and forth between them like a yoyo as it is =)

Everytime they push the code into the computer the time are going faster 5 times the "outside world" time, thats why Walt is so much bigger.. I think :P

lost is great, esp seasons 1 and 3, season 2 dragged on. now there's an end in sight they can plan out the conclusion and we can look forward to less 'filler' episodes. the only annoying thing is that lost was written on the fly - only the very simple skeleton plot in the writers heads from the start. so while we try to figure stuff out, so are the writers. shows like babylon5 are completely one man's dream, known as a full 5 series plot. completely congruent. still lost is one of the best shows ever. acting is superb. (btw the french chick (mother) is 'delenn' from babylon5...

yeah, fillers blow, that's what's cool about cable series, less fill more thrill, especially on FX =D

They're waiting until Feb because they couldn't find a way to show all the episodes without hiatuses and reruns because all the fans kept complaining about the amount of hiatuses in the first two seasons.

altho i love this show, i hate it when they disappear a show for weeks on end...i would prefer that lost hold off airing the new season till they have all the episodes filmed and ready to roll. i found the first half of the last season quite boring, and just about didnt bother to watch when they brought the show back months later.

I wouldn't count out Charlie yet, the island does strange things and intil they burry someone there under 6ft of dirt I woun't count them out coming back. I have to admit that I am waiting to the new season, what they do have at least, it there a deffinate date so far I have heard conflicting info.

I heard the producers state on a video blog last year that anyone who is definitely dead stays dead. So what does that mean? I dunno. What does that mean for Paolo and Nikki? Is Jacks father really dead? Lots o' questions to be answered.

At one point I thought they where in a snow globe,and then I thought maybe they are in a Burmuda Triangle type of situation.
It does make some kind of sense that it might be the macerations of one person.But then how would you explain all the connections?

I find the script for this show very well writen, they had to know where this was going before they wrote everything that happens it is just to intertwined, you have to really pay attention I think there are clues but there is just to much to follow.

ABC's "Lost" star Daniel Dae Kim entered an initial plea of not guilty to a drunken driving charge Friday.

Kim, 39, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon on the TV show, was arrested Oct. 25 when a Honolulu police officer spotted him driving erratically.

His driver's license was revoked Nov. 16 for six months, said Ronald Sakata, chief adjudicator for the Administrative Driver's License Revocation Office.

You could go on over to abc.com and watch it online, with "limited commercial interruptions." I thought last nights episode was terrific--a Hurley-centric episode. I won't post any spoilers here, but I'd say we're in for a wild ride this season, even though we may only get 8 episodes.

yup, all of a sudden...it was finished... but i enjoy Hurley so i was happy, lots of different ways this season can go...but i do wish they would start answering some questions!

I must admit I was a little underwhelmed by the first epidode of season 4. Hopefully it will warm up from here.

I'm very disappointed with the 1st and 2nd episodes... I find the "flash forwards" hold very little interest for me, and I'm not at all interested in this "not-really-new" story line involving Ben. The writers keep placing him at the center of all the mystery, but there isn't a character who's fate I am less "invested in" than Ben.

I'll continue to watch, to see if anything really interesting happens, but I won't be waiting for the next episode with any great anticipation...

I found it to be better than the first one, but they really need to get a move on soon.

I agree with kolbinfo. I looked forward to the start of this series episodes with excitement but while the second episode was better than the first I have lost that excitement. It really has become rather ho-hum.
Let just hope that episode 3 gets back on track.

I remember having the same feeling with seasons 2 & 3 though at the beginning, then as it bedded in it ramped up the excitement. Just hope they do the same this season.

Does anyone else think as I do that the production teams of almost all shows think that they can get away with mediocre shows to start a season just so that they can 'get better'.
After all if a show ends a season well shouldn't the standard be the same to start the net?

Ok this Episode really brought things together a bit, still not completely sold of the forward jumps but it is starting to add up a bit.

There is hope for this season yet.

I think this season is begining to get as exciting as the first season. It is leaving us with yet more questions plus we now have flashbacks flash forwards and present day I think this makes for compulsive viewing. Can't wait for next weeks episode.

i really enjoyed the last kate centric episode , am waiting for this weeks to dl, looking forward to it but i know it will be centred on someone else this week (desmond i think) so the quastions raised by the kate episode won't be answered for a long time, i think theres only 8 episodes completed and who knows if they are going to film more just know or have a short break then resume.

I am enjoying it more now than at the beginning of this season, it has me looking forward to each episode again.
But sometimes I think the script is written in a theatre sports kind of way, changing writers all the time with each not knowing what the former had in mind for a particular thread.

i know what you mean, each episode sort of stands alone but i know i will have to watch a lot more episodes before the kate situation is explained, but i would be very excited about a clare episode if i knew one was coming up. Only thing i don't like so far is that no one seems to be dwelling on Charlie does no-one miss him, and where are desmonds powers now that they would come in really useful?

I just hope the producers & scriptwriters come up with a pretty good explanation for all plotlines,because it hasn't set out clearly if this is sci fi or not...for example you know the parameters for star trek or the like,but none seem to have been set out for lost.

@gedmen there is of course the whole 'government conspiracy theory secret test facility' thing to consider too.

I mean, who can afford to have a private island where people dissapear, some of whom seem to have been there a long long time and not aged.. (consider the old sail ship) Ben may actually be a lot older than we are led to believe.

This could give an answer as to why babies can't be born.. you can live forever but you can't breed.

All other illnesses seem to have vanished, even J.Lock was crippled...

This weeks ep was a bit slow, I just want to know when the people are going to start dying.

Ha! poor uncertain, you must have been so disappointed at the end of the 6th episode aired this week (so close).

It seems to me that the combination of flash-backs and flash-forwards are not contributing to the story as the characters spend less time in the present, increasing a sense that things are "dragging."

wonder what is happening to the couple buiried alive with the money.
this series will end with more questions and nothing answered. to me its also becoming the BEN show.

I'm about three quarters way through season three,if your talking about the couple with the diamonds,I think they're dead.I'm totally hooked on season three,many new things have come to light. Jack's loyalty,and Locke's new fondness for Ben and the hostiles.Got to see the next episode to see what becomes of Locke. Desmond seems to hold the key to a lot of the mysteries.Personally I think the flashbacks are adding some key clues to some of the mysteries.Haven't seen any of season four yet,looking forward to the flash forwards as I think they will be important clues there as well.

well I'm caught up and can't wait for more.The flash forwards have added a whole new dimension to the show and I like them.Ben is definitely an evil S.O.B.,quite possibly the devil himself.I noticed he enjoys reading Philip K. Dick,did anybody notice the title of the book he was reading?Locke ain't too smart,is he.Desmond lost in time,didn't see that coming.

Yep Ben is dangerous looking now which means using TV logic he will be the savior by the end. There are so many loose ends here I think they have their hands full to explain even half of the answers by the end of the season.

I still think time plays a more pivotal role here than any of us are considering and the political in-fighting is just a side-show. Locke will wind up sacrificing himself for the group when he realizes he is following a false path. That is how characters like his wind up on TV. Hurley is a wildcard for me.

They were bitten,but the bite from the spider only causes paralysis.As they were being buried,they started to stir,but not soon enough.A fitting end for a couple of murderers.Could have been an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Seems like they were trying to save some money on cast and crew this episode(so4eo7).Nothing was really revealed in this one either.Was very touched by the sadness of it.
Jack was on for one minute and really seemed out of character.Michaels return is disturbing.The show seems to be in a bit of a slump,hope it picks up it momentum soon.

nearly got caught out myself bt the 66 messages and no thank you's posted made me wary so I checked first. Is this the first time EZTV has been caught out?. If so shame on whoever did it.

really are you sure? why would they do that , it just seems cruel, one of the messages said it was on a private tracker site as well one with strict ratios, that doesn't seem very fair

I just went and read the many, many, many additional posts at eztv and it looks like uncertain is right...

If it were a fake, with all those comments, and eztv wasn't involved, they would have taken it down by now, right? But, they haven't.

It strikes me as a rather cruel prank - they could have just as easily planted a fake news story about Jericho being picked up by the Sci-Fi channel or something like that - that would be a good prank...

The final two episodes are being branded as a Lost three-hour finale, with one hour on May 15 and two hours on May 29. Why no Lost on May 22? Apparently Lost masterminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were able to convince the network that the final two hours of this season had to be shown together.

OK I have a question for you Lost fanatics/pros:

WTH is up with the four-toed statue at the end of season 2? Any theories? We had a debate about it at work today and frankly I didn't even remember the event...

Just looking for the end of this series as it has lost interest for me. Will finish season but no more.

Well for us it feels like it is collapsing under the weight of its own mythology. XFiles felt like this at times. I will not tolerate BFCs (Big Fing Clues) like the statue and not another thing for two years. It shows a weakness on the part of the writers. The end of the season to my understanding is the next three eps aired, though they might be three hours in one night, spread over three nights, weeks or any combination thereof. If they are available now that would be interesting but not as far as I can see...

@Odo: I fear it is worse than that. More often than is publicly known, the writers themselves just throw mysteries out there with no clue how to resolve them and often they will do it just to deepen the mystery with no intent to resolve them.

What makes this worse is we as the public have no clue which mysteries are real and which ones are "throw-away" clues. We have to have faith the writers know where things are going and when we discover that faith is ill-grounded, it seems even more heinous.
