It would be cool if on a user's profile, it could show what season of a show the person is on for those who started watching a show after it had been on awhile.
Please explain.
Your profile already shows the upcoming episode
by season and number therein if you have selected
the show as a favourite of yours.
No, I mean what season a person is personally currently watching. Like right now, House is on season 5, but someone might have started watching it late and may only be on season 3.

I don't see the need for such a feature. If you find someone who watches the same shows as youself and would like know more, you can simply message them.
Also please do as we ask all to do when in a shows thread do not post spoilers unless you first give a warning like
