How about getting points for correctly guessing the answers?

I believe Admin is already working on that.

1 point per correct answer, max 6 points per day, max 30 total from this game

I think the game is a good way for new members to up their points. I think more people would play if there were no cap on the points.

People are generally competitive so perhaps a points leader board would be welcomed.

I'm not sure how the points system works with regard to programming but perhaps the points on the leader board could remain part of the game only and not count to users overall points. This way the game would not be abused if the cap was lifted.

Members being competitive over points has proved to be troublesome in the past, the game is fine as it is & I have seen plenty of members names playing the game that I have not seen in the forum,if it isn't broke...don't fix it.

How about a compromise

point for a correct answer, maximum 6 points per day toward profile
but no other cap. After all 6 points towards profile is no different to 6 postings in the forums and at least these would guarantee they are 'worked' for.

Plus a separate register for the game itself with those game accumulated points shown against the members avatar.

1) I removed the total limit. Now it's just max 6 points per day. one per correct answer

2) and to keep users playing longer in a day I added a section for "Top players of the week" at the bottom.

The more you play the easier it is to spot the show-name as soon as it comes up.

Hint1 There are only a limited number of shows included.

Hint2 They all have show images on their show profile pages.

If you play the game this week you may have noticed that I'm trying very hard to beat hoodmk2 to the first spot for this week!! But, in order to stand a chance, I would like to know what the official time of the site is. I don't know which timezone hoodmk2 is playing, but I'm on CET. Could anyone please respond? Thanks in advance it would really help. I think hoodmk2 has hugged that 1st place for too long already...grrrrrrhhhh!
