How about a weekly lotto draw. Members could choose six numbers between 1 and 49 and post them in a thread. Admin could draw numbers each week and the winners could get points as a prize.

Prize Breakdown

Match 2 10 Points 1st prize
Match 3 20 Points 2nd prize
Match 4 40 points 3rd prize
Match 5 60 Points 4th Prize
Match 6 100 Points Jackpot

If no one wins the jackpot then have it rollover to the following week.

Just had a thought. Perhaps entry to the lotto could cost points (say 5 points per entry) and the jackpot could be made up of these points. For example 20 people enter with 5 points each equals 100 points for the prize fund.

It would probably be best in a small application on the on one of the pages instead of just posting your numbers, and perhaps it could also have a random number generator.

I like the idea of tickets costing points but the problem is 100 points is a lot and I'm sure a lot more than 20 people will be entering it every week, I currently have >650 points and the jackpot I'm sure will be much higher than that. People won't have to do much to get to the highest rankings.
