Just updated the TV Shows tab

sharetv.org/shows

improvements:

* 3 options of viewing results [List, Grid, Split]
* Ability to see shows starting with a Letter
* Has a Green Star next to Shows with videos available

Great new look to the TV Shows page. Another improvement by admin.! Thank you Chris.

Also,

our database has 18,000 shows [ sharetv.org/list/all ]. The TV Shows tab only lists about 2K of them. In order for a show to be listed in the main tab it must have at least one of the following:

* has 2 votes
* upcoming episode scheduled
* has videos from HULU.com
* found on eztv.it

Nice look. Only have 1 question. How do you get a list of all the shows?

You may be right. But this should be an option that is on the TV Shows page unless I am missing something.

But, I can't remember, was the former hyperlink to "view complete list" that used to appear in the right hand corner of the TV Show page, a link to the entire database? Or, was it just a link to the 2,000 or so main entries?

I think it would be great if the link to the entire database was provided on the TV Shows page. Currently, you can only access it via the sitemap... Sometimes I have only a vague idea of a tv show title, so the keyword search doesn't do me much good - much easier to browse (the entire) database by alpha, in those cases.

It would be great, to have the link for the complete database in the TV show page in alphabetic order.
To remember 18000 TV show titles is almost virtually impossible. Beyond this, the show list has shows from different countries. Foreigners will lost the opportunity of knowing them.

Hyper-link was to all shows and it was nice to have.

i see that admin wants to put a stop to all threads referring to 'forgotten tv shows'? great job!

Ok, what happenrd yo yhe links that used to be there?
TVrage, IMDB are missing so you can get more show info.
Also the links to Amazon, TorrentGuy, Torrentz 1 other(can't remember name)are missing. Only link I saw in checking various show pages was for EZTV.

. I usually use eztv anyway so it was helpful to have a faster route to new episodes but i miss the torrentz link it was good for finding older shows or full series. The grid/ list option looks really good but the previous hyper link to all the main series was faster to scroll through if you were trying to remember a show's full name.

I have also been changing the format of the show pages as well. this is a test. I'll try a few different types this month and see what works best for everyone. feedback is always helpful

Chris, with the option to view all (18K) shows only appearing in the sitemap, with no link on the main TV Show page, I think it is unlikely that members (especially new ones) will find it.

Could you include a link on the main TV Show section?

There should a way to easily access the full listing of shows in the database.
Otherwise we will be inundated with newbies saying a particular show is not listed.

TV Shows tab now has some new categories:

* Recently Popular (not done yet, will list show pages that have had the most stuff done this week)
* New
* Ended/Old
* On Air (has a date to air the next episode)
* Has Videos

and clicking on a Letter switches straight to List Mode to make it faster to find a specific show. comments?

looks great chris really like the new and on air tabs saves trying to find out when the next episode of my show is on one idea is there anyway to get a tab for mini series so it makes it them easier to find thanks again
