I have noticed that when using 'Search' to find a user the results seem to come out in what can only be described as a random order.

Even when there is a perfect match for the username entered this does not necessarily appear on page 1.
I found an active user I was looking for on page 8 of 11!
May I suggest that the likelihood is that most would be searching for a relatively active user.

Therefore let the search continue to generate the usernames that it does but to present them in order of most points and working down.

I believe this would ensure that, in the vast majority of searches, the desired result will appear somewhere on page1.

Great idea Quark, I have noticed as well it can be hard to find a user, but if you do know thier user name you can put it in the link below, just substitute for where is sais Quark and it should pull up their page.

But if we were all to do that there would be no need for the search facility, BUT with the weird spelling sometimes that will not always work.
eg Someone knows you are ygagnon but forgets the 1024 what then?
Do try it misspelling another user and see!
