Just select a show, pick an episode and hit play

There are over 1,600+ streaming full-length episodes available. It's all completely legal as it comes straight from one of the networks new sub companies. Only downfall is at this point you can only watch if you live in the U.S. They said they will work on getting rights to make it available to everyone in the future.

This is just a start. I will add a lot more features to it

sounds good for me as well, in Canada so I guess it won't work but I have found that before going to the networks and trying their watch online, most of the time it does not work becouse I am in Canada.

Very nice! I think this is a terrific way to watch those old favorites that aren't very easy to find via torrents.

@nogds9, currently there are only American shows. Not sure if they plan to also partner with networks outside the US. The company is still in beta. They haven't even launched their own website to the public yet. However, it is a major step forward toward quality LEGAL tv online.

I will add an option to change the screen size and a fullscreen option as well

looks like the outside US problem is solved with Hotspot Shield. Now just need to add a good flash app to make it easier to sift through those shows and watch in full-screen!

My flash wont play audio tried everything I can to uninstalling codes and adobe and firefox and reinstalling nothing seems to work it has to be a windows problem and i am not formating or doing a repair install just to have flash, will download anything i like to whatch

PeerGuardian may be blocking your Hotspot Shield...

I happened across this while looking at my PG list of blocked IP addresses, I saw AnchorFree classified as Anti-P2P by PeerGuardian (Bluetack)...

I verified this by opening up my copy of Hotspot (from AnchorFree) while my PeerGuardian was running, and sure enough, PG blocked it...

This is something for you to check out if you have not been able to get Hotspot Shield to work for you....

If you're new to ShareTV and want to view videos online, please review this thread and follow the link to the Watch Online section in the first post...

Once at the Watch Online section...

1. To view an alphabetical list of shows with videos, use the drop down menu.

2. To view shows based on popularity, click on the "view with pics" link...

3. To view outside the U.S. try an IP proxy, like Hotspot Shield [http://www.hotspotshield.com]

Not all shows in the ShareTV database have videos available to watch... However, more are being added all the time!

As you can see from the latest announcement across all pages, it's official! ShareTV.org is now partnered with HULU.com to show full-length TV shows and movies online. As of this writing we have nearly 4,000 full episodes available and growing.

Try out the "Watch Online" app [ sharetv.org/watch ] and post here if you have any suggestions or problems.

Having just checked the Home, TV Shows, Lisings, Watch Online and the Television Online pages there is nothing that states if you live in an other country than the USA tat you need aometing like "Hotspot" to watch.

All the pages have on the top is:

Also this info is not on the Site Map Page.

So where does a new member find this information, with out haveing to search thru the forums.

It may be that the agreement we have with Hulu may be invalidated and we would not have the content at all if sharetv.org posts that information prominently on the "video" pages due to Hulu being the one who imposes the restriction to the US only.

I agree with quark on that, I hadn't thought of it but now that It's been brought to my attention...it's entirely possible.

Haven't tried Hotspotshield yet but does it work, and are if we do use it will it stop US users from having a great thing, wouldn't want to spoil it for others.

1) I'm sure this isn't a problem with ShareTV, but every time I watch something in full screen I get an error, "windows host process rundll32 stopped working" (yes, I use Vista.) Does anyone know what this is related to and how I can fix it?

2) Are the shows available only shows from NBC and Hulu? Because I know that other networks have a Watch Online section on their website, but their shows are not here. (i.e. The CW) Any Chance there will be more coming?

1) make sure you have the latest version of flash player and javascript installed. let me know if you still have trouble

2) Many networks have started up their own watch online applications. We're creating a list here [ sharetv.org/watch/networks ]. HULU (NBC) has deals with dozens of networks to display their shows. However, CBS and The CW are two of the networks working the hardest on their own app so they are a bit stingy at the moment about allowing their shows to be distributed everywhere. hopefully this will change in the near future. More shows are added all the time though

Sometimes when I'm playing a video, it gets very choppy, starts and stops, sometimes stops still for several minutes. Leaving the site and coming back sometimes helps, but not always. Sometimes I have to just leave it for the rest of the day. Any ideas?

I am an Australian currently in East Timor for a while ... I would like to continue watching some of my favourite shows but if sharetv.org is not available to people outside the US, can someone recommend a similar free-TV site that is?

Have you followed the instructions in the posts above, read through this thread & see if the soloutions above help, If you are still having problems after trying those soloutions post back here giving as much information as you can describing your problem.

Gedmen, the only info I can provide is that sometimes when I'm watching a tv episode or movie on sharetv, the action stops and starts repeatedly. I can't believe I'm the only one this has ever happened to, and I thought perhaps someone on here might have some suggestions as to what is wrong.

@marain,Your security might be causing your problem,what do you use and is this the only site that gives you problems?Do you have cookies on.There are a couple of tracking cookies that I find on this site(adbrite and doubleclick).How much RAM do you have and how much do you use for your browser,what browser do you use? Where do you live(country)?

@NIP whomever might have problems viewing videos, it's true it could be your connection speed, your browser or it's cookie settings, or it could just be your media player taking too much ram. That problem can be helped some by using vlc media player free at videolan.org. Also, google search Windows Task Manager Files and you should see some websites that will tell you which programs listed in your Task Managers Application and Process lists are really needed to run windows, which are not and even information on which might be trojans or viruses. You can always google search the name of any file you are not sure of. Any of those things might eat up your pc's ram, thereby making it harder for your video player to play files. Search our forums for information about download speeds and you will find several informative posts about how to test your pc for up/down speed..which if your watching an online video will affect how it plays. Download the Process Explorer to your Desktop and run you will be supprised what is running. And you can Kill what you think should not be running. Please read the Help file that comes with it.
