Hi, i currently use Bitorrent to download all my files. i hat first had problems with this for various reasons which i have now fixed. But i keep reading things saying utorrent is faster? is it really faster? ie dramatically faster as i would download it if it is seriosuly going to knowck some time of my downloads please reply

There's nothing like trying for yourself.

Actually, the latest version of bittorent client is based on uTorrent, so there shouldn't be that much of a diference.

The speed you get depends more on you having your torrent client well configured rather than having a specific client doing wonders for you.

There are a lot of places where you can find info on how to properly configure your torrent client.

@prich09,go to BitTorrent web site ,you will find links to Wiki. They have a good guide for configuring your client. I recently changed form Azureus to uTorrent and have noticed a fair improvment in the speed and stability dept. It seems to play better with my other program I have running. My first client I used was BitTorrent and I found it to be slow and slugish.Perhaps they have improved it. The Wiki is the best resource I've found for info on anything.Good luck

From my experience I was using BitTorrent to start with, and then tried uTorrent which seems to work a lot faster and also download some files which BitTorrent wouldn't (for reasons I couldn't figure out at the time).

i might make the switch to utorrent sometime

Having tried both of the others Azureus and BitTorrent I find that Utorrent is deffeniatly faster and easier to set up and use. Also have noticed that most sites recomend utorrent for use.
