Reality TV show with stunt drivers?

Sometime between 1999 and 2004 there was a reality TV/game show that pitted stunt drivers against real police officers. I think it had one episode that aired. The premise was a handful of police officers would wait in police cars in an abandoned industrial complex for a vehicular infraction. Then they'd start chasing that vehicle, no rules barred. The driver's incentive was to get to a certain spot (I think before time ran out). If the driver got there, he won; if the cops stopped him, they won.

What was the name of this show? It's been driving me crazy for years. It was AWESOME!

Thanks,

Alan

The show was on basic cable in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I remember that they had a camera in the sky and I think dashboard cams. The other pedestrians on the course were actually stunt drivers. I think everyone was dressed in typical stuntman uniforms underneath their regular close. I don't know if they had helmets on.

The chase was pretty good--the police hit the car several times before the driver abandoned the vehicle in a small parking lot not far from his checkpoint, trying to get over a fence. The three or four police that managed to get close jumped out of their cars and tackled him.

I know this sounds more and more like some footage of a real-life chase out in California, but I asked my wife if she remembered watching the show and she did. I also remember that we had a couple friends over specifically to watch with us and I taped it, thinking, "Other people have GOT to see this!" And, yes, I've lost the tape.

Additionally, I can almost guarantee that it was not a first-rate TV station. That being said, I don't mean to ruffle feathers when I say it may have been on the WB or UPN...

i remember the show. the first driver was trapped in and decided to drive down the side of the mountain. the second driver was in a white BMW and started doing donuts in a dirt path and stalled one of the police cars by getting dirt in his engine but then was could cause he rammed a parking block. the third driver flipped his car at the finish but had a car on the back of a tow truck and used the car as a shield. then the first driver and the last driver got to the finals for makeing it to the finish and it was a free for all. the cops ended up winning, but one stunt driver wasnt caught cause he ended up on foot for too long so they counted him out. it was the best driving show i have ever seen. i been looking for it to. but i have had no luck. maybe someone can use this description to help both of us.

I saw that show too! In the episode I saw, there were 3 different stunt drivers. One drove a really shitty red mini cooper style car and he ended up crashing or something and he tried to get into a semi rig, but then they arrested him. The next guy was hidden in a car that was attached to a tow truck. The car came off the hook and the police chased after the tow truck and the real driver was in the car that came off the tow truck. He got arrested after he crashed into a road block or something. But then another driver like undid his cuffs and he stole a police car. One guy on the show made it out cuz he only had to go through a road block of barrels. But yea I've been searching for that show and there's literally nothing online

so does anyone know what the show was called, I too have been looking for it for ages, vaguely remember seeing it when I was about 7 or 8, which would have been about 2003 or 2004, I remember this episode where one of the police officers was removed from the game, cant remember why, but then he ordered a road block to be set up to help his friends who were still in the game, and the commentator was like "Let me just check the rule book" and "Is this allowed" and stuff like that. I also remember that the target was painted black and yellow. With like a small black circle in the middle, then a yellow ring, then a black ring etc etc. If anyone knows what this show is called please help.
