And this site has always had the issues that only affected other sites in the early 90's, almost everyone else learnt how to code and the other's used frameworks developed by those who could code.

As for this site he works here alone as far as i know .

Problem is we use Javascript (client-side language) to send a new forum post without refreshing the page. Then use PHP (server-side language) to decode and store it. Seems each language has their own unique way of encoding/decoding data. I think I found a work around.

Threads which had the problem appear correctly now. If anyone sees another thread with unicode data, let me know.

If you feel the way you do about this site then why do you continue to use it. Admin works his butt off to provide the site for us to use and discuss our favourite shows, as do other members.

I for one think this is one of the best sites of it's kind. Yes, it may be finding it's feet but it is much more user friendly than most other sites out there.

Thank you Chris. Thank you blkhole for helping with this. Thank you joker, onlyme1, odo, iceman, thor, quark and windsorboyd for being defenders of the work on the site. I agree with thor on this @ucg, and also I must say I applaud Chris's work. He has sooooooo much work to do on the back end stuff, stuff people have requested, stuff needed for security, and he has had to prioritize. With all that, he still wants to do all the coding himself, not depend on others pre done work. You Go Chris! Rock and Roll!
