I have added some new spyware removal and virus Removal programs to those I use to use. I list them on my Profile, but I want to be sure everyone has plenty of safe online fun, so I will list these here as well. Anyone needing any of these programs should contact me via email chksug06@yahoo.com, identify yourself as a sharetv member in your subject line please. I use Spybots S&D, XoftSpySE, Lavasoft Adaware,PG2,Stinger programs from McAfee, and of course the Windows Maliciouse Software Removal tool, and Norton RootKit Detective and Symantic Antivirus. In the past, I have also used Norton Internet Security 2005, Avast Pro, AVG, and Nod32. Of those last four I may have older versions but they may still be updated. AHFA |

I have lots of anti-virus stuff running, firewall, Spybot, AVG, Zone Alarm, etc. but I still got infected a few days ago. The infection wasn't stopped but it was quickly identified and Spybot sorted some of it out and AVG isolated the rest. The problem is that three files which are infected and have been isolated are necessary for running some of my utilities and I cannot now run them. Wonder if Microsoft will send me good copies of the three windows\system32.dll files? Anyone know if they'll do that? |

nagila mekon I have no idea if Microsoft do that or not. Failing that a couple of suggestions, I am assuming you have checked your windows disc for the files? If no joy there you may be able to get a copy off a friend? I have replaced files in just that manner in the past. I have xp pro and vista ultimate on my network here and would be only too willing to send you a copy of anything you may need from them. AHFA |

I have plenty of spy ware and stuff but it did no good when I looked at the warning above the active X icon and I said, "It will be all right." Wrong! |

Yes, I still get virus and spyware every few years too. I just keep on adding stuff to take it off hopefully keepingit off longer will help me not stress as much over it when it happens. I'm not sure what the activeX warning is your mentioning..never had that. |
