Nog, I cannot get an actuall torrent file, I keep getting something labled Invasion no . anything no file type, windows lists it as just File. I use utorrent and BitTornado, usually with no problem like this one. Any ideas...Nog, Anybody? Thanks!

I started to d/l it 10hours ago and have yet to have anything d/l at all.
5 hours approx I added my listing of trackers(over 70) still no good.

Thanks so much for the intel, I am coming to the conclusion that I am going to have to take my VHS of it, put it to dvd, then upload it for everyone to enjoy, which I will do and then I will post here as to where I uploaded it. Thanks again!

Nog, I did get the torrent to work, by renaming it and adding the .torrent extension, however, as Quark mentions it is not a working tracker and no other trackers have picked up that particular file. It's all good though, Now that I know it's not out there, I will put it out!

Ok, now I now I said I was going to try to do this by friday, but after starting the IRC chat room I had some spyware/virus trouble that I'm still working on. I am going to go offline, reinstall my antivirus, then do the Invasion Iowa encode BEFORE I get back online tomorrow. Well, I got all the commercials out, and then I encoded it into .avi's using Nero Visions Export function, however, I had a little trouble with compression, so I just used no Compression, and they are huge files, around 60 GB each,and there are 4 files. I figure that is way too big to put up as one whole torrent, even as four seperate it's kinda large, So I thought I'd see what the vid quality looked like if I instead used the now commercial free dvd files (remember those were taken from a VHS tape), I shrunk them to burn to a 4.5 gb dvd, looks really horrible and I don't even have an HDTV. Now, I'm going to try burning them to a dvd9 to see if the vid quality is any better. If that's better enough I will upload that and post here, if not I will work with whomever can help me out to make them encode smaller but still look as nice as possible. I don't want to install any new programs, so if it doesn't look right on dvd9 maybe someone can take the files off me some other way (ymessenger, mIRC, fileserver site etc..) and encode them for all of us.

If I'm not seeding it's usually a cool down period for my dsl box, but that's only about half an hour, then I pick up seeding again.

I have full digital extractions of these programs, right from the satalite feed. I used a frame accurate video editor to remove the comercials, and have gathered some other Invasion Iowa goodies from the internet... I'm putting together a DVD...

I don't do torrents, just not my thing... But I read above that someone was having trouble with the flooding... does this mean you are from Cedar Rapids? I live just west of CR.
