The site has only been online a couple weeks and so far there are over 4,000 members. Although I'm not sure how many will want to participate in the forum.

I agree, while it is awesome to see all the new members, I am a little concerned about heightened visibility which might bring new (legal) challenges :(

I've been here for a couple of months now, and I love the place. We do seem to be having some growing pains, though, and I wonder if the admins may have to restrict registrations somehow, maybe kinda like Demonoid does, just to keep things manageable. It's good to see the site growing, though, and maybe it won't come to that.

Great new features added all the time - online TV viewing, etc... I love that the site is restricted to TV (no movies or music). And, hey, the numbers (members and users) need to be significant to support quick downloading / seeding of new episodes, right?

Can't wait to get my TV turner in this computer up and running. I want this to be a success and am very willing to share.

As it grows we can say we were the early adopters. Its a race to see who can still find torrents to add or images to upload.
Sad to say I go back to school and won't have the free time as I did the past week updating the site. Good luck everyone.

it's getting to the stage dont you think where invites might have to come onto force..only an idea mind u..

the more on site the more hit & runners.or a warning system like they have on 2 of my sites (dididave & iptorrents)u dont seed to a ratio of 1.1 you get a warning,maybe after 3 warnings they ban you from site.

I'm still pretty new here, but first off, what is seeding, and secondly, Aren't they trying to move all the uploading and downloading to another site? I thought that admin. wanted this to strictly be a tv fan site? Maybe I am confused? If that were so, then why would people get penalized for not "seeding"? Just curious!

Seeding refers to how much of a downloaded file you share with other peers in the swarm through "seeding" - you are seeding while you download, so the process is automatic... But, chances are you haven't seeded 100% of what you downloaded by the time your download is complete, most recommend that you share at least as much as you take... Your torrent client has a setting for a seeding ratio, I suggest you check what that is...

Yes, torrent files are being moved to another site so as not to confuse people who are coming to chat about TV and stumble onto torrents unintentionally... But, those who already know they want to take advantage of torrents will always be able to find them here (they'll just be directed to the torrentguy site)...

n8ph8ts, with the changes to the site, uploading from here is still not an option (as you noticed, 'cause that's why you asked...) I know Diary has already been uploaded to various sites (it's listed on btmon.com)... I also know Joker is anxious to be able to upload again too... Don't think his post in the Mod forum has been answered yet, still waiting to hear from Chris... Based on Chris' posts, user submissions will remain separate from eztv, and you probably won't get the downloads / seeds unless you are already "first to upload."

But, we're changing the direction of this thread here... Back to those who want to use this thread to just say "hi"...
