mmmmmm I love to cook ... I love the smells of the food as it's cooking ... and the wonderful memories I can recall from different moments in my life.
There are times when this cook is feelin' kinda' pooped so a can of tuna and some simple mixin's added will make it into a most delectable meal.
I have found that a simple meal can be the most enjoyable one ... the one that you appreciate the most.
I know we all enjoy eating so please post your recipes here in My Kitchen.
Happy Eating!
It sims that everybody wants some.
For dinner tonight I roasted a whole chicken breast (Italian sausage for hubby), mashed potatoes and a green salad. Very nice outside but really feels more like Fall weather.
The seasons they are a-changing...
always season your food
@gedmen and @romeo53 - both of you are funny. Talking about 2 different things.
@tash845 - don't men usually like meat (like steak)
I am a pasta person.
hello pasta person
I don't like meat very much myself; the Italian sausages are made from the other white meat - pork.
Coffee! I made coffee and lots of it. French toast, hot cereal and fresh fruit.
Nice sunny day today.
What do the french call french toast?
pain grill franais
pork crackling is a super food
Hello @romeo53
hello
Romeo, is it the skin if the pig??
of
@p6, pain grill franais sounds like a medical condition.
I agree with @gedman. It sounds painful.
@tash845 - yeah, is it the skin of the pig @romeo53. If it is the skin of the pig it taste good. If it isn't the what is it.
In the states, cracklings are called 'fried pork rinds'. They're OK, but I wouldn't want to live on them given the choice.
yeah it's the skin
it's the best bit and the most fattening
oh ok. have seen the pork rinds but never ate it. if I ate enough of it I might start to oink. lol
Thanks for explaing that to me. Sometimes when I do not know something I would ask a thousand and one questions until I understand. Thank you @theprisoner6, @romeo53 and @tash845. :-) :-)
nothing like a good roast pork with crackling
better wipe the drool of the keyboard
I like cod fish; very good when cooked in a pan with carrots, onions and potatoes and some dill weed.
Can I have fries with that?
