We've had a light dusting of snow tonight

Two inches fell during the night & snow reported all around the rest of the country...

a foot at least and much more to come, people were stuck on the hill in the main street, back wheels spinning. I had to go into 4wheel drive and overtake about 4 cars , it was too slippy for anyone to try and push them.

I believe global warming is having a affect on the Arctic and the mass amounts of fresh water going into the northern seas is having a profound effect on the temperature and ocean currents,not to leave out the weather.Is this how the ice age started? Will Nibiru change us forever?Will aliens save us?

it puts our complaints about a bit of snow and cold into perspective.

when all you can see is smoke in the street and you can smell burning it does get scary but within 30 mins the wind changed and everything was clear it does put things into perspective what is really important

Its good in one way but its very hot. Temperature is 33 degrees. Not even a single could in the sky. Really bright. And the rainy season is about to start i think next month.

The ice let go on the lake today,an amazing site.Ice in the morning,open water in the afternoon.The Loons showed up yesterday,amazing how they know when the ice will be out.A great flock of Mergansers has settled on the lake for the evening.What a noise they make and not to wonder why,a Great Horned Owl is high in the pines and looking for dinner for her brood which is settled in an Crows nest at the edge of the lake.A flock of wild Turkey about 40 strong has also settled high in the surronding pines,the weak branches breaking as they quabble with each other for prime real estate.Nice evening,temp.in the low 40's, 20mph wind out of the northwest,right out of the mountains.

Horrible weather,rained 5" overnight,it has been raining for two week like 12 hours of rain,12 hours of gray.The lake is at flood stage and the river it empties into has gone over its banks.The brook next to the house looks like a raging rapid.It's also been very cold for this time of year.
