@trekhippy We've had thunderstorms this weekend,although a thunderstorm over here is a few rumbles of thunder,a couple of bolts of lightning & localised showers.

over the last few days , heat, thunder,lightning ,hail,rain, wind and now cloudy but mild.

Naples,Sebago Lake,Maine,USA Sunny and humid,close to 90F.We have had terrible thunder showers with hail and high winds every afternoon for a couple of weeks.I've never seen so much lighting.
Beats the twelve feet of snow we suffered last winter.

Rain has just stopped can see a very small patch of blue between the clouds in the middle distance. Leeward Blacker clouds moving out to sea.
But can see lots of black Cumulus Nimbus in the far distance to the Windward heading this way.
Can hear a lot of rumbling from that direction so am expecting thunderstorms.

Now we have 20% blue sky. The wind has gotten up a little and the storm clouds have veered away from us and are out to sea already.
And the sun is out and you can visibly see the ground drying out.

We now have white cumulus clouds and in places I can see alto stratus as well.

weatherman got it wrong again now we have black black clouds and can hear thunder in background this was not supposed to happen damn it has been aN English summer here bloody well seems to rain every other day things have yet to dry out from june thought with the weather over past few days we had turned the corner

It's a boiler today,expect thunderstorms in an hour or so,we have had warnings of severe ground to cloud lightning and hail.I'm taking the rest of the day off and sitting in the lake.Someone should invent a waterproof laptop for the shower or lake,anybody,LOL.
