Since the page was updated and the login was changed from a page within the site to a pop up window my computer won't remember my username and password.
At first I could visit the page for up to two weeks and stay logged in but eventually I'd always have to re-log in and when the computer remembered my user and pass it was very quick and easy, but then you changed the site and now I have to log in every time I visit the site and FireFox won't remember the user and pass... it's getting a bit frustrating!
Sorry but the new system is still in it's infancy and it maybe that this will be rectified.
The new log-in is intended to provide more security and to make logging in or joining easier.
As I have said before one way to extend time before next log-in is to bookmark your profile page (after logging in) and to access the site using the bookmark.
Also you could use the ShareTV widget (see information forum).
I also use 'most visited' as a bookmark as I too use Firefox.
