AFAIK the listing on this site for Series 3 of Primeval to start airing in 8 days time, is incorrect.

This is a UK series, and I'm in the UK, avidly awaiting the expected screening of series 3, which is not scheduled yet. But the trailed broadcast will actually be a US repeat of an earlier series (probably series 1).

I now have 500 points, but it is not obvious how (or if) I can edit this information. It seems to be an automated feature of the site. Where, if anywhere, can I correct this error?

Confirmation on the start of season 3 is for now listed as 17th January as there is a 5:45pm timeslot available,if this changes the site listing will be updated.

I beg to differ about season 3 - look it up on Wikipedia and you will find :-

"A third series has been commissioned and is now in production for 14th February 2009 which is a week after ITV's Demons finishes"

I really don't think it will get aired in the US ahead of the UK, and it is not in our schedules anywhere up to 19th Jan so far as I can see.

Where are you getting your information?

Tv Rage & EZTV both have it listed as returning on the 17th January.If the show is set to air a week after Demons on the 14th february, it will be updated in the site listing as and when it is confirmed.

The site for this show here has some problems methinks.....First it said that Series 3 episode 1 was supposed to be on Feb 14 2009. That listing has now disappeared from my listings and the below has appeared on the show page. What Happened to season opener?


Primeval (UK) returns in 12 days

(03x02 Season 3, Episode 2 - Feb. 21, 2009 7:45PM EST)

ITV web site has NO repeat NO dates listed for the return of Primeval Series 3 all it says is the spring 2009 could be March to June. They seem to be doing a Fox as to the apathy for fans of the series.. In other words TJDGAF.

Does any one know when Primeval is back on our screens ???

I have just scoured the Whole repeat Whole of the ITV website
section for this show.

There is NO repeat No indication of when series 3 will be aired.

Other than they say quote "in 2009". Could not find the "spring" that blkhole refers to.

Well it looks like we will just have to wait again.

It says spring 2009 at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primeval but this has been wrong before,(ref:@softwizz earlier posts in this thread)

I see that the show is now showing here as screening 3x01 on Wed 11th March.

Better yet, ITV.com confirms that Primeval does indeed screen on ITV2 at 1900hrs GMT that day - but there is a wrinkle.

When you click on the entry in ITV.com to expand it, you get two links, one to "at least one other episode", the other to "a repeat", none of which say explicitly that 3x01 is being shown, and there is only the single one-hour timeslot in the schedules.

So I'm holding my water until I see the Radio Times entry; that, I will believe. It is for example possible that we get 2x07 repeated at this time, as a lead-in to series 3.

The start date is on the itvmedia website. Season 3 will start on March 28th 2009 and will run to May 30th 2009.
