I tried to change my picture yesterday, the upload page said successful upload, but now i have no picture at all!
can someone please tell me if i have done something wrong, or if theres a temporary fault with the site, or if it just takes a couple of days to update. thanks

Hi Sam -- as you've been able to change your avatar in the past, I just went ahead and notified Admin of the problem in case this is a site glitch...

I ran into this problem once,sam1980,when you changed your image did you click "get picture"and save,after?

Speaking of avatar problems...

I wanted to change mine, but no matter what I did, it always said:
ERROR: You forgot to choose the image file

Any suggestions?

And before you ask... I HAVE selectec the file!

@sam1980 and @julinee, I see you both currently have avatar images.

* did you also have problems the first time?

* what browser and OS are you using?

I just created a test account and changed the avatar a few times without a problem. maybe it's a browser specific issue.

I tried to change my avator, but it went blank, so then i uploaded my old picture (the one im using now) & it changed straightaway so i went through the process again, and it went blank again, i tried it with many different jpeg images on my pc but they all came up blank, but my current avator works straightaway everytime. I use bitlord & xp

i have never had that one and i have done it alot !

I had no problems when I first uploaded my avatar and I already changed it successfully once, but recently when I wanted to change it, nothing happed except for the error message I recieved. I use mozilla as I have since I came here first.

Oh, and Windows XP...

Try transferring the new image to your 'my pictures'
folder and try to upload from there using my instruction list. Should work I use XP as well.
