Hi Bill, what is that you're trying to do on ShareTV (that you can't do because you're using a Mac?)

For example, if you're trying to view videos, are you in the U.S.? If not, please use the keyword search function to search for threads about proxy servers and HotSpot Shield...

You will need a bittorrent client that is compatible with your OS.I suggest googling "bittorrent client for Mac OS 10.5".Read all the instructions carefully and the FAQ.If you have problems beyond that,you are welcome to leave your questions in my guestbook.I will be happy to help get you started.

After doing some searching myself,I found a light weight application that would be right for you:Transmission 1.60.I suggest staying away from Azureus because it is a resource hog and will slow you down. The download is free and is open source.Google the name you will find it.

As you're just getting started with torrents, I will suggest uTorrent as your bittorrent client and VLC as your media player.

Sorry I wasn't aware that uTorrent for Mac OSX was out of closed beta yet.I can't find it anywhere.

True, Nog, uTorrent has not issued a Mac-version, but Mac users are still utilizing uTorrent... That's why I included the links for Mac-related threads. If you, or anyone else knows that uTorrent will NOT work with the OS 10.5 (what is that, Leopard?), please let us know in this thread.

Many private torrents sites have banned the use of sub-standard bittorrent clients (for example, IP Torrents bans Transmissions), so I never recommend anything other than uTorrent or Azureus...
