My points haven't changed since I uploaded some videos to the site. When will my points start to go up for adding videos?

videos are the only part I haven't added to the point system yet. I just started implementing them with the rest of the site this week. I still need to add a page for users to manage their submissions like they can with torrents

then I'll add a thumbs up/down system to each video page and base points on how many good votes your video gets like how the show reviews now work

When you first activate your account how long does it take before points are added to your account?

Points are usually updated once a day, I believe it is at midnight wherever the server is, but I could be wrong.

The update takes place at 10.00 GMT (think thats 04.00 EST in the US)

You'll have to work it out for youselves what that is for your time zone.

At the next update (in 11 hours time from this post)you should have about 25-30 points by my reckoning.

How come I lost 20 points one day last week? I realise what the site says about others doing more than me and so overtaking me so to speak but 20 points? That's an awful lot in one hit. I sign in twice a day mainly to check my list of what's coming up that day and then the next and I have been only getting one point a day. No complaints about that - I understand that but I would like to know why I lost 20 points. I went from 205 back to 185 overnight. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Points may not always be permanent because anything
that is deleted that gained points will have the
points removed as well.

Remember this applies to your own deletions as well.
eg shows, friends reviews etc.

I suggest you read sitemap>points below to see what
points are awarded for and work out what may have been removed.

Sorry I have no means of finding out exactly why.
Point additions/deductions are an automatic function of some action being taken.

Does the point system even work - One thing it tells me is that I'm not registered - go back and reregister. - I've done that again and again yet it still allows me back in when I sign in - still no points and from what I've seen so far, theres no way to rate what I've watched. ok - All those posts are for a year ago - Does the point system even work?

ok - forget what I said about the ratings problem. I suppose we all should just be glad the stuff that is here - is here . Thanx
But I'm still not being verified as a user and no points show up.

Have you verified your email address. If not then doing so may help.

As you have only just joined you will not see any points in your profile until the site update which I think is still as Quark posted above 10.00 GMT. You may or may not need to adjust this for your time zone.
