can you help with the following

I am not currently downloading so I have set my upload speed to unlimited. I am seeding my 17 uploaded torrents and also 3 that I recently downloaded.
My problem is that I appear to be uploading @ only 25% of my normal download speed. Is this normal or is there anyway to increase the speed for the benefit of the downloaders or am I missing something.
I use BitLord and have a 2Mb broadband connection with AOL

Usually the upload speed is less than the download speed.

I also have a 2 MB connection, and only have a 512 Kb upload speed (resulting in about 50 Kb/s while I download at 200 Kb/s)
